Zum Thema Kombinatorik. Wie rechne ich das? Ich habe eine Baugruppe bestehend aus 4 Bauteilen. Jedes Bauteil hat 48 verschiedene Hersteller. Jedes Bauteil eines jeden Herstellers hat 7 verschiedene Farben. Wieviele Kombinationen sind möglich?

component 1 can be 48 diff manufactures and 7 different colour, that is 48*7 = 336 posiblilities.
there are 4 components so that is 4*336 = 1344 combinatons :)

For my answer the components are on a board so each one is seperate, they are not all just lumbered together.
The first component could be one of 48 different manufacturers.
Say it is the first manufacturer ... then it can be any of 7 colours. That is 7 possibilities.
Say it is the second manufacturer.. again it culde be any of 7 colours.
So far that is 2*7=14 posibilities for the first component....
BUT there are 48 different manufacturers, not just 2 so really it is
48*7 posibilities for the first component. This is true for each of the other 3 components as well.
So that is 48*7 + 48*7 + 48*7 + 48*7 = 4*48*7 = 1344 different possibilities.
