Or you can use "\mathrm{}", for example: \(\mathrm{Factor}\:4x^4-12x^3+8x^2+12x-1\)

You see how the word "Factor" is in normal font...

You can do that!!!! 

\(\prod _{n=3}^5n^{\frac{1}{2\pi }}\)

\(a_3=3^{\frac{1}{2\pi }} \)

\(a_4=4^{\frac{1}{2\pi }}\)

\(a_5=5^{\frac{1}{2\pi }}\)

\(3^{\frac{1}{2\pi }}\cdot \:4^{\frac{1}{2\pi }}\cdot \:5^{\frac{1}{2\pi }}\)

\(=60^{\frac{1}{2\pi }}\)

Well, I did everything I can, I don't think I can solve this one then. Maybe ask someone or a mod !

Using the quadratic formula gives:

\(_{1,\:2}=\frac{-1\pm \sqrt{1^2-4\cdot \:7\left(-5\right)}}{2\cdot \:7}\)

\(x_1=\frac{-1+\sqrt{141}}{2\cdot \:7},\:x_2=\frac{-1-\sqrt{141}}{2\cdot \:7}\)

\(x=\frac{-1+\sqrt{141}}{14},\:x=\frac{-1-\sqrt{141}}{14}\)

So if a and b are roots:

\((\frac{-1+\sqrt{141}}{14}-4)(\frac{-1-\sqrt{141}}{14}-4)\)

(EDIT:  Just you are calc if you don't know how to solve!!!)

Just solve that and you got the answer
