How to make an empty rectangle in Latex
I just worked out how to make an empty box of various horizonal size easily in LaTex.
This is not a recommended method, but other methods that I have tried here have not worked.
This coding is really simple. Just put letters inside

Very interesting question. No high level maths required.
This question was posted a couple of days ago.

I think it is really interesting. It looks much more difficult than it really needs to be.

Some guidelines for question askers.
Please note:
1) Ask only one question per post.
2) When asking a question talk about what you have tried for yourself. Then people will take you more seriously and will be more able and willing to help.
3) If you get an answer

It's a bit mor complicated than that.
because the saver will get interest on her interest that has already been paid - as well as interest on her deposits.
but you are right, an interest rate has to be given and an exact time period.
Even considering these problems, the question didn't make a lot of sense.
I actually think it may have been translated into English and something was lost in the translation.
or maybe Lil_Rosey has English as a second language.
Is this the case Lil?

firstly,
(0.0000004)(60,000)/(0.00002)(1,500,000)
means
[(0.0000004)(60,000)/(0.00002)] * (1,500,000)
is this what you intended?
What is your real problem, can't you do it on your calculator?
Don't you understand what you calc is outputing?
Do you need to do it by hand?
Do just want someone to give you the answer and explain nothing?
If you ask a specific question you are more likely to get the answer that you really want or need.

Why can't you just cut the tiles that don't fit.
I have a tile cutter in my shed.
You could just have 5 tiles,
One for each side and one for the bottom.
the longest side is 11.34m so that is how long the tile would need to be.
of course, 22543, your interpetation is probably more what the teacher had in mind.

22543's answer is really good but it might be easier for you if you split it into 2separate equations when you take the square root.
3m+4=13 OR 3m+4=-13
then solve each one separately and at the end choose the answer/s that meet the condition m<0

Ok
Our guest has made a careless mistake leaving out a minus sign on the second last row (and last row). Other than that trivial error, the maths is good.
It is slightly different from my method but it is still good.
It is not quite finished.
If you fix up the minus sign then there is a difference of 2 squares on the top that can be factorised,
then there is some cancelling that can be done and the final answer is much simpler.

You do it with a 'hanging tree'
Put 440 at the top and any 2 of its factors underneath. If either of those 2 factors is prime then put a circle around it and that branch is finished,
start on a new row
Put any 2 facors of each non prime number above. etc untill all the branches are finished
I made the prime factors bold.
440
10 x 44
2
5
11
4
2
2
440 = 2 * 5 * 11 * 2 * 2
The prime factors of 440 are 2, 5, and 11
This forum won't allow me to add spaces so it doen't look like I wanted it to, but hopefully you get the idea and will do it yourself next time.

cos is adjacent / hypotenus
And, it is cosine not cosinus
Maybe remember
some old hags sin=o/h
cant always hide cos=a/h
their old age tan=o/a
