I think this question is in italian, I put it through a translator and this is what I got.

You could do it on your calculator if you have a fraction button.
otherwise

27 1/4 - 12 8/9
= 27 + 1/4 - (12 + 8/9)
= 27 + 1/4 - 12 - 8/9
= 27 - 12 + 1/4 - 8/9
= 15 +1/4 - 8/9

hopefully you will recognise that 1/4 is less than a half and 8/9 is more than a half. The first one needs to be the biggest unless you want to deal with negative numbers.
So I suggest you change 15 + 1/4 into 14 + 1 + 1/4 and, 1 and a quarter is 5 quarters.
so

=14 + 5/4 - 8/9
Now, you cannot add or subtract fractions unless the denominators (bottoms) are the same. You must find a number that 4 goes into and 9 goes into. 4*9 will work and in this case it is the smallest one.
So you will have to change it to 14 + something over 36 - something else of 36

and I am going to let you finish by yourself.

Just convert the km to metres and do the division on your calculator. The units cancel out. the answer will just be a number.

The probability of getting at least one heart is the compliment of getting no hearts.
What I mean is, you either get a heart or you don't so the sum of these 2 probabilities is 1.
All probabilities are between 0 and 1 (0 = can't happen) (1 = must happen)

The probability that the first chosen is not a heart is 48/52
now there are only 51 cards left and only 47 of them are not hearts so
The probability that the second chosen is not a heart is 47/51 etc
So
The probability that none are hearts is

P(no hearts) = 1 - [ 48/52 * 47/51 * 46/50 * 45/49 ]

Firstly what is bidmas? Do you mean BODMAS ? If you mean bidmas please tell me what the i stands for?

BODMAS stands for
Brackets then
of (as in power of) then
division and multiplication equally important just work left to right then
addition and subtraction equally important just work left to right

Your first question is so easy that I am sure you can do it yourself. Just try putting the brackets in different places until it works.

The second one is a bit tricky. What i will tell you is that it is not 4 squared. There is only one place that you can put the first brackets to change this. There will be 2 sets of brackets altogether.

Without any brackets this expression is really

=35000 * x^2 - (x / 200) * x
=35000* x^2 - x^2 / 200
=x^2 * (35000 - (1/200))
=34999.995 * x^2
