Not positive of this:
5 C 2 = 10 ways for the two balls to match their boxes
the remaining 3 boxes can only have balls distributed to them in TWO ways (Out of a possible 6) where they do not match their boxes
10 * 2 = 20 ways for exactly two to match
Time to work = distance / rate = d/50
Time from work = d/75
total distance = 2d
total distance / total time = average rate
2d / (d/50 + d/75) = 2 / ( 1/50 + 1/75) = 2 / (3/150 + 2/150) = 2/ (5/150) = 300/5 = 60 m/hr ( as Chris found via different method !)

Vertex form y = a (x+3)^2 - 2 choose point (-1,0) when x = -1 y = 0 shows a = 1/2
y = 1/2 (x+3)^2 -2 expand
y = 1/2 x^2 +3x + 2.5 1/2 x 3 x 2.5 = 3.75 ( as EL found via a different method !)

there are 4 ways to put the two in ONE box
there are 6 ways to distribute One and One ball amongst the four boxes
10 ways (I think)
