grams is a weight and ml is a volume so I can only answer this if I know what material you are using.
There is 1 ml of water weighs 1 gram
but 1ml of molten lead would weigh much more.

The square roots of negative numbers do not exist. There is no answer.
If you study maths into university then you will learn about imaginary numbers.
The square root of a negative number is an imaginary number.
You won't need to worry about this for a very long time.

positive * positive = positive
negative * positive = negative
positive * negative = negative
If the signs are the same the answer is positive
If the signs are opposites the answer is negative
