Let N be the total attempts....so
70% of these = 350 .......so....
.70N = 350 divide both sides by .70
N = 350/ . 70 = 500
(1/7) (x+9)^(3/2)=49 multiply both sides by 7
(x + 9)^(3/2) = 343 raise each side to the 2/3 power
x + 9 = (343)^(2/3) = [ (343^(1/3)] ^2 = 7^2 = 49
So
x + 9 = 49 subtract 9 from both sides
x = 40 [as the only real solution]

√ (9x / 25) = (3/5)√x → monomial
We have
p = 200 + 30f where f is the number of friends.......so....subtract 200 from both sides
p - 200 = 30f divide both sides by 30
[ p - 200 ] / 30 = f
√ (16 y^3) = 4y√y .....since it's just one term, it's a monomial
Yep....it appears that this website definitely has developed a cold.......if not the flu....!!!!
A - 20 = (1/6)A where A is the original amount
A - (1/6)A = 20
(5/6)A = 20 multiply both sides by 6/5
A = (6/5)20 = $24
He has 30 * 4 = 120 roses
And dividing these by 5 tables, we have ... 120 / 5 = 24 at each table = 6 of each color
Let A be the original amount......and we know that....
A - 18 = (1/4)A add18 to both sides, subtract (1/4)A from both sides
(3/4)A = 18 multiply both sides by 4/3
A = 18(4/3) = 24
This makes sense 24 - 18 = 6 and 6 is 1/4 of 24....!!!
