Of course, this can be simplified.

$2.225=2{45 \over200}$

But STILL it can be simplified.

$2.225= 2{9\over40}$

I don't believe it can be simplified any further than that.

So, in simplest form,  $2.225=2{9\over40}$

Use the "caret" (^) symbol and type in a number greater than 3.

Such as: $2^4, 3^5, 4^6, etc.$

Dividing a fraction is pretty easy, let's use an example problem. 

${2 \over3}/{4 \over5}=x$

Let's find x.

${2 \over3}/{4 \over5}=x$

Flip the second fraction and multiply.

${2 \over3}*{5 \over4}=x$

${10 \over12}=x$

So, ${2 \over3}/{4 \over5}={10 \over12}$

Melody, I wish for none of this to be offensive, but I think you have done your maths incorrectly. 3(x+4)=3x+12, not 12x+12. Guest, 4 3/5=4.6, or four and three-fifths, not 4*(3/5)(in words four times, in parentheses, three divided by five.)

Correct! A country has land inside of it's borders, such as Canada, America, Mexico, China, Japan, etc. The list goes on and on!

3(x+4)-12=4.6+2x = x=(23/5)
