The questions lock automatically 10 days after the last reply post. If there are no replies, they do not lock, unless a moderator manually locks it.  If you can convince one that you have something intelligent to add, one of the moderators will probably unlock them.

You can find most unlocked questions by doing this:  At the top of the all questions page, set the Sort option to “Most Answers,” and set the Filter to “Unanswered.”  (Unanswered means there is not a “check mark” on the page, it does not mean there are no replies to a question.).

Set the Tag to “No Off-Topic” Set the page number to 1136 (for 25 posts per page). The address bar will look like this: https://web2.0calc.com/questions/page/1136 Most of these descending toward the lower numbers will be unlocked.

This page number will, of course change. At the beginning of the “forum day,” it climbs as unanswered posts appear. Most of the time, if all the moderators are online it drops a digit sometimes two near the end of the “forum day.” Though all moderators give checkmarks, Melody is the main moderator who checkmarks the answers by members and guest. The page number slowly climbs, though, about 1 to 2 pages per day. 

Most of these are unanswered for reasons, like poorly presented mathematics, rude requests, and homework beggars, and just plain rubbish that wasn’t made invisible. So, even with the Off-Topic filter on, most will be the spam and crapola you hate.  Good luck!.

This is _un^balanced! I placed this inequity of inequality before the Board of Directors of Lancelot Link’s A.P.E., to determine the optimum and relative value of Heureka’s solution.  After a debate, the BoD agreed that Heureka should receive bananas and peanuts and the first answer should get the peels and shells.  All the votes were unanimous, save one. Chip Loki and Chimp Stanley holds Lancelot’s two votes by proxy, while he’s on assignment in Tahiti. 

Chimp Perceval, Chancellor of the Exchequer, calculated the conversion of the bananas and peanuts into 17 points divided between the two posts by Heureka. A board member requested the Chancellor of the Exchequer to explain the math. 

One standard banana equals 1 point times the board’s vote counts (one for each regular member and two for Lancelot) of eight (8) yeas and one (1) nay equals eight points under the reinstated point system. Points to be applied to Heureka’s first post (#2).

Forty-seven (47) grams of shelled peanuts equals 1 point times the board’s vote counts (one for each regular member and two for Lancelot) of nine (9) yeas and zero (0) nays equals nine points under the reinstated point system. Points to be applied to Heureka’s second post (#3).

Additional comments and actions during the board meeting:

A gripe about the single point each member can authorize instead of the five under the old system.

A short debate preceded the vote on whether to give points to both the posts or only to the final post. The debate yielded a consensus: because this is a binary question, Heureka’s posting of the solution twice with the second post having two numbers more colorful, is both apposite and quite funny.

Most of the Board members threw banana peels and peanut shells at the member who voted ‘nay.’ The acting CEO ordered them swept up and tabled until the final call for a vote to offer them to the first poster responding to the question.

For the final order of business the acting CEO, Chimp Loki, ordered the Chancellor of the Exchequer to turn over the expropriated bananas to the company barkeeper for conversion to banana daiquiris to be served, with the expropriated peanuts, to all board members.   There were no objections or points of order.

Yes Ehrlich, CPC does write irritating posts: He often states the obvious as if it is some esoteric knowledge, and he magnifies the offal of social communication to the point where one can smell it.  Even so, all of his posts combined still have less of an offensive smell than any one of yours.  That you would choose the only post CPC made that is outside the above description to post your comments is very telling. 

Your comments are like throwing water on a grease fire—a very stupid thing to do.  You are the neighbor that bìtches about another neighbor’s yapping dog. So now, we get to listen to the yapping dog and the neighbor’s bìtching. 

Notwithstanding your impassioned objections, Herr Massow allows for social comments on this forum. He made a filter-controlled, provisional label for it: Off-topic. When it’s used, it does work. You need your own label, Ehrlich. A year ago, the forum’s Troll suggested one.

This is an interesting and pleasant piece of _minimalistic music. With this, you demonstrate clearly the aphorism that “_less is ^more,” still lives. 

Why did you switch the treble and bass clefs on the piano section? Is this part of your “chaotic” nature?

It seems that Toto the dog has pulled back the curtain and reviled the Troll’s secret Chimp identity. 

I volunteer at a nokill pet shelter and we are often asked what happens to the dogs and cats that are not adopted.  Because of my mischievous troll chimp nature, I will sometimes say we donate them to food banks and homeless shelter kitchens to help feed people.

Most realize, as you did, that this is a jest or a joke and we all have a macabre laugh. Occasionally, one will freak-out, especially when I offer to place them on an email list for sampling when we donate them. One time I offered to sell a book of my favorite dog and cat recipes to a “woman of means.” She seemed interested, so I added that this week we had a special: with her purchase, she could have her pick of any two large breed dogs or four cats to test the recipes. She fainted.  Oops!  I quit doing that.

Anyway, I decided to tease (troll) you because I’ve read your posts and I know you are intelligent and have a sense of humor, and most importantly, you wouldn’t freak out. 

To answer your latest question, yes, the dogs (and cats) are treated very well. We find forever homes for them very quickly.      

Ehrlich, why do you not post the source for this equation? The source should have more information related to the variables and how to derive the values 0, 1, and, 2 for the A_k variables. I’m sure they are derived using a modulo system.
