log(24) = log(2 * 2 * 2 * 3)  ......and by a property of logs we can write this as :

log(2) + log(2) + log(2) + log(3) =

3log(2)  + log(3) =

3(0.30) + (0.48)  =

.90  + .48  =

1.38

I'm not familiar with any key that adds/subtracts vectors.....but.....you really don't need one, anyway......when adding or subtracting vectors, we just sum (or subtract) their respective components....for instance....

 < 1, 2 >  +  < 5, 7 >   =   < 6, 9 >

And

< 7, 3 >  -  < 10, 13 >   =  < -3, -10 >

Does that make sense  ???

(1/7) * (5/1)   =  5/7

12  * [ 4ft + [3 + 7/8] inches ]

12* 4  = 48 ft

12 * [3 + 7/8] =   12 * [3.875 ]  =  46.5 in   ......46.5 / 12  =  3.875 ft       and  .875ft  = 10.5 in

We can also do this by rationalizing the denominator....multiplying the numerator and denominator by the square root of 12....and we have

[ 3 / sqrt(12) ] * [ sqrt(12) / sqrt(12) ] =

3sqrt(12) / 12  =

sqrt(12) / 4  =  

sqrt(4 * 3) / 4 = 

2sqrt(3) / 4  =  

sqrt(3) / 2

Converting to decimal value, we have :

[220 + 47/60]°  = about 220.833°
