A = pi* (15)^2 = about 706.86 square units.......
I trust Melody in MOST situations.......unfortunately, this isn't one of them.......
Sisyphus has returned to the "Triangle" to retrieve his results.......
Mmmm....now that I think about it......he HAS been gone awhile......!!!
{Can't trust those Illuminati members.......}
This is given by 10^3.094 = about 1241.65
In general......take the derivative of the function, set it to 0 and solve........this wil give you the critical numbers......please realize that these may or may not be contained in the specified interval......
If the two legs are 6.1 and 5.8 the hypotenuse is √[(6.1)^2 + (5.8)^2] = √70.85 = about 8.4
So
sine = opp/hyp = 5.8/8.4
cos = adj/hyp = 6.1/8.4
tan = 5.8 / 6.1
V = (1/3)*pi* r^2 * h where r is the radius at the base and h is the perpendicular height from the base
cos(a) = x/r = 2/3 ..... so.....
y = ±√[3^2 - 2^2] = ±√[9 - 4] = ±√5
So tan (a) = y/x = ±√5/2
.45555....... = [45 -4] / 90 = 41/90
Note that........
(1.00000....) - (.9999......) = .(00000).....1 = .01 where the "bar" is over the "0'
{sorry.....I dont know how to insert the bar !!!}
