Wow, Rochelle !!!....those are some of the most impressive graphics I've seen on here...!!!
Very nice....
Not really......I just fool around with it until it looks like something reasonable....!!!
Thanks, Melody.......
Each square measures 9in^2
So, at stage 6, we will have 6 x in^2 = 54in^2
We can solve this as a proportion..
(2/7) ton / (7/8) wall = x tons / 1 wall .....cross-multiply......
(2/7) = (7/8)x multiply both sides by 8/7 .... so we have..
(8/7)(2/7) = x = 16/49 tons
1/12 of the lawn in 1/2 hour means that in 1 hour, it does twice as much = 2 x 1/12 = 2/12 = 1/6 of the lawn.
So...if 1/6 is watered in 1 hour, then it must take 6 hours to water the whole lawn....
Hit the 2nd" button, and you will see the "acos" key
We have
Final Height = -4.91t^2 + Initial Height .....therefore ....
0 = -4.91t^2 + 80 subtract 80 from both sides
-80 = -4.91t^2 divide both sides by -4.91
[80/4.91]= t^2 take the positive root of both sides
√[80/4.91] = t = about 4.036 seconds
Very nice, saseflower....!!!
The horizontal component is given by
1200 cos(6) = about 1193.42 ft / s
And the vertical component is just
1200 sin(6) = about 125.43 ft / s
