There is no real number solution for this.......the minimum value for any square root is 0, and when we add 15 to that, we will always have something  > 0

Saseflower.....we don't need to worry about common denominators when we multiply or divide fractions.....that's only necessary when we add/subtract....... .....it doesn't make your answer incorrect....it just leads [ sometimes] to extra work...!!!!

12x + 2  = 4x - 22     subtract 4x, 2 from both sides

8x  = - 24         divide both sides by 8

x = -3

4 ( x + 2)  =

4*x  + 4*2   =

4x + 8
