(-5)-1 = 1/(-5) = -1 / 5
Use this conversion:
rads x 180 / pi = degrees
For example : convert pi/4 to degrees,,,,,,,
pi/4 x 180 / pi = 180/4 = 45 degrees
It works for "non-pi" rads, too.......example convert 2 rads to degrees
2 X 180 / pi ≈ 114.59 degrees
Sorry.....that file won't load.....just include the angle of elevation in your question......then, we can answer it......
sqrt(68) = sqrt(4 * 17) = sqrt(4) *sqrt(17) = 2*sqrt(17) = about 8.246
(n+3)(n+2)! / (n+1)! = 30 .... note... (n+2)! / (n + 1)! = (n + 2) ......so we have
(n+ 3) (n + 2) = 30
n^2 +5n + 6 = 30
n^2 + 5n - 24 = 0 factor
(n + 8) (n - 3) = 0 so...n = -8 or n = 3 reject -8, since this would produce a negative factorial and factorials only apply to non-negative integers [ and, in advanced math courses, positive fractions, as well ]
So....n = 3
2x^3-7x^2-10x+24 > 0
Here's a graph of the solution........https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ik33ufgobt
The solution intervals are (-infinity, -2) U (1.5, 4)
(8.12/ 8) * 10^10 = 1.015 * 10^10
We can use the sine inverse to find x....so we have
sin-1(.573) = x = about 34.96°
[This also might be an angle in the 2nd quadrant = [180 - 34.96 ]° = about 154.054° ]
I'm not sure, either, but I think we have this:
0.59 x 12 = 7.08 ... or this:
59 x 12 = 708
This isn't a calculator, as such, but it's a pretty respected website......http://www.wolframalpha.com/
Browse around.....it has many interesting capabilities.........!!!!
