Hey, CPhill thanks for the help which I understand but you made a mistake in your work and skipped something in the problem. In your work, you solved for (d) but labeled it as (c) and you solved for (e) but labeled it as (d). So you skipped (c) in the original problem.

Yeah, can you finish it from there? This is supposed to be the last question on my work. I do know about the ratios but similar tringles always get me. Thanks!

Ummm... I'm not quite sure. What I'm supposed to do from there? Maybe explain how to get where to aim at the wall?

6. A player chooses one of the numbers 1 through 4. After the choice has been made, two regular four-sided (tetrahedral) dice are rolled, with the sides of the dice numbered 1 through 4. If the number chosen appears on the bottom of exactly one die after it has been rolled, then the player wins 1 dollar.
