(2)(+4)=8(2)+4=2(x4)(x+2)=x22x8=0x1=2x2=4

(x1)2=x22×x+1

if you write your equation as this:(x1)29

you can use this rule:a2b2=(ab)×(a+b)

finally you can write your  equation as:((x4)×(x+2))

so this means: 4 and -2 are your solutions. I hope I could explain
