What is the measure, in degrees, of the acute angle formed by the minute hand and the hour hand on a standard clock when it indicates ​?

This is not so hard

 

the big hand points to the 8 and the little hand has passed the 9 and is 2 thirds of the way to the 10.

 

There is 12 hours and 360 degrees on the clockface so there is  360/12 =30 degrees between each number.
