I'm looking at the solution manual of an exercise i've been doing. The last step to find t after 2cos400t = sin400t is to divide sin by cos and get the tan.

tan 400t = 2

But i'm unable to process the next step. It's been a while i haven't practiced my trigonometry and I'm a bit rusty and been struggling with this for a while.

The next step is

400t = 1.1

how? Tan-1 gives 63.43

Do arctan(2) in rad - modus. You get 1.10714871779 rad

Do arctan(2) in degree - modus. You get 63.4349488229\ensurement

63.4349488229\ensurementπ180=1.10714871779 rad1.10714871779 rad180π=63.4349488229\ensurement
