\({M}_{2}{R}_{3} + 3T{S}_{2} = 2M{S}_{3} + 3TR\)

M2R3 and TS2 are both ionic compounds. When 20.0 mL of a 1.0 M solution of M2R3 and 50 mL of a 1.0 M solution of TS2 are mixed, two precipitates are formed. After the Reaction has gone to completion, what ions remain in the solution?

A: M and R

B: T and S

C: M and S

D: T and R

You need  3:1  ts2  to m2r3 for a complete reaction.....

you have 50 ml of ts2   so you would need  16.67 ml of m2r3 for a complet reaction to occur.....you have 20-16.67 = 3.33 ml excess of m2r3 which will remain in solution         M and R
