d=x2+b2a2

Can you, and how do you simplify this further?

d=x2+b2a2d=x2+(ba)2

d = sqrt ( x^2 +  b^2 / a^2) =

sqrt (  [a^2x^2 + b^2] / a^2 )  =

sqrt ( [ax]^2  + b^2 ) / a         [whether this is any "simpler,"  or not,  could be debated  !!!! ]
