There is a polynomial which, when multiplied by \(x^2 + 2x + 3\) gives \(2x^5 + 3x^4 + 8x^3 + 8x^2 + 18x + 9\). What is that polynomial?

thanks and please help! i appreciate any bit of help! :)

stay safe!

Divide    x^2+ 2x + 3 into the second polynomial in your Q to find the missing poly

    you should get    2x3 -x2+4x +3

thank you so much for the help! but can you show the steps to how you divided the polynomials?

so we get (2x^5 + 3x^4 + 8x^3 + 8x^2 + 18x + 9)/(x^2 + 2x + 3) becomes 2x^3-x^2+4x+3
