1. The roots of \(x^2+8x+4\) are the same as the roots of \(Ax^2+Bx+1\). What is \(A+B\)?

2. Find the discriminant of the quadratic \(5x^2 - 2x + 8\).

3. Find the largest integer \(k\) such that the equation \(5x^2 - kx + 8 = 0\) has no real solutions.

Please help and explain if you can!

2) The discrimant is \(b^2-4ac\) so it would be \(4-160\Rightarrow -156\)

Thank you so much! Does anyone know how to do the rest?

1) The roots are -4 +/- 2*sqrt(3), so A + B = 7/12.
