How do you find slope using a graph

Find any two points on the graph....let the first point = (x1, y1)   and let the second point =(x2, y2)

 

And the slope  is just   =  [ y2 - y1] / [x2 - x1 ]  or, subtracting the x's and y's in the same (reverse) order,     [y1 - y2] / [x1 - x2 ]
