HeY guys!

i really need help on this hw question!
its due today so if anybody's online, plz help, thanks! :D

 

A person stands at a window on the 9th floor of an office building. He measures the angle of elevation to be 25 degrees and the angle of depression to be 36 degrees of the top and the base of a tower. The person knows that he made the measurements 40 m above the ground. Determine the height of the tower to the nearest tenth of a metre.

Hint(s): (I gave you the solution for the other problem so you should be able to use that to solve it since angle of elevation and angle of depressions are very similar) He's 40 meters off the ground, so find the distance between the bottom of his office building and the base of the tower using tangent (because we know the opposite and we want to find the adjacent. Once you know the distance between the bottom of the office building and the base of the tower (call it x), use tangent on the angle of elevation to find how much taller the tower is compared to where he is standing.
