5.5 cm(20 km1.4 cm)=5.51.420 km=78.571 km

20 km  / 1.4  cm =  d / 5.5 cm    where d is the distance we are looking for....

 

Cross-multiply

 

5.5 (20)  = 1.4 d    divide both sides by 1.4

 

d = about 78.57 km
