put 2 istead of x

look f(x)=y so it is asking to you what is the y when x is 2 and if you will put istead x of any numbers like 1,2,3... you will find points of (x,y) and how graph is look like 

$f(x)=2(x+1)$; Find $f(2)$

$f(2)=2(2+1)$

$f(2)=2(3)$

$f(2)=6$
