How many different three-digit odd numbers can be formed using the digits 3, 4, 5 and 6 if digits cannot be repeated?

If the number ends in 3

We have three choices for the first digit  and two for the second  = 6 numbers

The same logic would apply if the number ended in a "5"

So...   12
