Good Morning, Sunshines! :)

Ready to start off my day with some wonderful math!

What Polynomial must be added to X^2-2x+6 so that the sum is 3x^2+7x?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, everyone!

This might be a silly question, but how did you know that that would be the answer?

 3x2x2=2x27x(2x)=9x06=6

x22x+6+2x2+9x6=3x2+7x+0

Good morning Hayley :)

I suppose it is morning here too since it is 12:25am :))

well

x2+2x2=3x22x+9x=7x6+6=0sox22x+6+2x2+9x6=3x2+7x

So the polynomial that you seek is

2x2+9x6
