The x-intercept occurs when y=0.  x-intercept is (6, 0)

The y-intercept occurs when x=0.  y-intercept is (0, -3)

Applying the distance formula/Pythagorean theorem, we have the distance between the points to be \(\sqrt{9+36}\), or \(\sqrt{45}\), equal to \({3}\sqrt{5}\)
