long time no speak....trust all is well with you...How would the following be done?

 

\(8/2(2+2)\)

 

The answer could be 1 or 16...thanks for your time...

The answer is \(4(2+2)=16\)

Um... but can't it also be one, because 8/2(2+2) turns into 8/2(4), or 1. So I think thats why he said it could be both 1 and 16.

\(8/2(4)=4*4=16\).
