and a1+a2+...+a98=99.

 

a1+a2+...+a98=99(a1+a982)98=99a1+a98=29998

 

Let x=a2+a4++a98x=a2+a4++a98 x=(a2+a982)982|a2=a1+1x=(1+a1+a982)982x=(1+a1+a98)984x=984+(a1+a98)984|a1+a98=29998x=984+29998984x=984+2994x=98+2994x=74
