Suppose P, Q, and R are points in the plane such that PQ = 1.8 PR = 8.2 and angle PQR = 90 degrees. What is the perimeter of angle PQR?

Use Pythagoras if its 90 degrees

formula = a^2 + b^2 = c^2

not sure about whether 8.2 is the longest side but this is what you do if it is

8.2^2 - 1.8^2 = 64

then you squareroot 64 which is 8

now you can add them all together 8+8.2=1.8 =18

wink
